Kay Lim Holdings Pte Ltd

Started in 1979 as a specialist in metal roofing in Singapore, Kay Lim Group has journeyed far and has since established itself as a reputable player in the construction, property development and tower crane industries.

 

The Group ventured into the construction of buildings in 1989 when Kay Lim Construction & Trading Pte Ltd was established. The company’s expertise spans across residential, industrial and institutional sectors and has many award winning projects under its belt such has HDB’s first eco-precinct project, Treelodge @ Punggol.

With the booming construction skyline in Singapore, the Group identified business opportunities in the market of tower crane rental. In 2009, the Group set up Alpha Machinery Pte Ltd to cater to the increasing demand of tower cranes for the construction industry.

 

Responding to market conditions, the Group diversified into property development in 2010, when it acquired a row of shop houses through a collective purchase process. In 2011, the Group successfully launched its first boutique development, Rangoon 88. Garnering synergies from its construction and tower crane businesses, the Group is able to create greater efficiencies on various fronts and deliver greater value to its customers.
